Tips and tricks on how to get rich in Neopets from someone who has.

And no I will not tell you my username or give out items.

It depends on what you’re doing. Those are some pretty respectable amounts.

I usually make about 50k a day alone from Habitarium (if I leave my laptop on while I’m at work).

In addition to that I would say that taking advantage of things like these weekends with 5 scores per game. Playing a few easy 1000np games can make a big difference.

Also, KEYQUEST. Not only do you make quite a nice amount of straight up neopoints and you sell the rest. I find that I make a ton of neopoints from selling neggs and codestones.

There are more time consuming ways to make bigger neopoints but those are things I do fairly often and still make a decent profit.

My lab rat got zapped Woodland today! I might keep it like this for a while since it’s been months since I had a good zap.

I honestly do not know. Perhaps jellyneo.net can help with that.

Anonymous said: Hi, I just wanted to tell you that a "beautiful fire faerie floated down and handed me a mutant petpet paint brush." This is the first time I've ever gotten a paintbrush from a faerie, and I put it in the trading post for 450k! :D I FINALLY have over 1 million np now; in fact, I have 1,302,843 NP xD This doesn't really matter to you but I was just so happy that I wanted to tell you :')

Sweet! Sometimes it takes a little bit of luck to get you over a milestone! Have fun!

200 hours and counting!

I’m starting to get excited even though it’s all going to be going down when I have a huge conference in another city for work and stuff is going to be absolutely crazycakes at work before that. But nothing can stop my Cup fever!

I’m going to be playing with my usual team, Maraqua. What teams are you guys going to play on?

Anonymous said: A while back, I would let my friend use my neopets account. I eventually lost my internet, so it was all hers. When I got it back, she had stopped playing it. I found a bomberry elixir in my SDB and the item descrip. said it was worth about 10 np; so that's how much i put it up in my shop for. It sold literally after 30 seconds. I thought that was strange, so I did a shop wiz. check and found out it was worth about 40k -.- Lesson: ALWAYS check other players prices for an item.

Yep. Totally.

NEVER take the price that the items says. It almost always incredibly wrong and you’ll end up never selling a really common item because the info says it’s worth 30,000 or get sniped because you put a rare item in your shop for well below market value.

And I’ve had way less time for Neopets since I started this job. So I probably won’t make All-Star.

I wanted to make double all-star and get the highest prizes to sell for a decent profit! WAAAAH.

every-note-i-ever-wrote said: hey (: recently i bought a bunch of one item (i won't say what it is, so if people get the same idea, the price doesn't deflate) that is a one-time use item. i bought 64 for around 9k each, because i knew this one item was a contest item and would eventually be retired. i was right and the lowest right now is 20k (2 days later). just thought i'd send in the tip of investing in items that are going to go up eventually (: great blog.

Thanks! This is a pretty common practice, one I’ve indulged in myself but I find it risky if it’s not a limited item like something from Daily Dare or Advent Calendar. Stamps and books are usually ones I stock up on.

Fuck you too, neopian_adults. I hate the ridiculous drama of that LJ comm and finding myself kicked out of the comm because they purged everyone and I missed the post in the course of having a full time job is really a pain in the ass.

I guess that means the next time I feel like doing a giveaway of a few million neopoints it will be from this tumblr and not there again. Oh well.

  1. Have mostly workers. Two nesters of each and about 1/6th soldiers. Just enough that they will be able to defeat the pests.
  2. Use decorative items like the fences to cordon off everything. Lock your workers in so they cannot move. It takes up time and gets everything really confused when they move back and forth to the storage. They don’t need to go into the storage in order for you to get the points and the resource.

Go to this post here for a photo. If you click it, it’ll get big for a better view.
  3. Leave it on when you go out. That may seem either obvious or unfeasible but sometimes I just make sure all my soldiers and workers are full-up and all my nesters are on new nests and go to bed.
  4. Dispose of eggs. You get 200xp every time you dispose of one on screen. Do not get rid of them from your bag, you don’t get any points (as far as I know).

In your item bag make sure you have a good number of each egg, enough that if you don’t play for a few days and come back to all but one p3 dead, you can at the very least begin to replenish them.  Three or four nester eggs for each species, at least two soldiers and several workers (for each species).

After you’ve got those, just discard the eggs because you have enough to replenish and those 200xp will make a big difference in leveling up.

HOPE THAT HELPS!
